Long time no post

It has been a while since I have posted. For a while I didn't have anything to post about untill recently. I've been learning alot about vcrs, dvds, cds, and had disks. Me and Ray ( guy thatI work with) have been trying to debug some myths about hard drives and magents. I've learned more than I need to ever know about how different medai is written and read by a drive. I love learning all this awesome stuff. I've also been way too busy with Graduation and classes. I'll try to pst more often.

Wintery Weather

No internship Today.

It has finally snowed in Lenoir. For the first time in at least 4 years.
I didn't go to school today and that means no internship.
I got to sled for the first time in a long time with my younger brother and sister.

Today has been great.

Updating Student Services

Yesterday I helped Mrs. Crouse with SchoolCenter. We updated some of the Student transfer information. We even added some dates to the calendar.

e Newsletter Success!

Libby's eNewsletter was sent out on the 11th. It looked awesome. Mrs. Lyday was happy that I could help Libby with her project. They both bragged about me. Libby also sent it to my email. I looked at it on my I pod and it looked perfect. I was worried that part of it was fuzzy but it wasn't when it was sent out.

I also sat in on a board meeting. I was introduced to the staff and the superintendent of Caldwell County. I was a pretty awesome day.

Things are getting done?

SchoolCenter had me frustrated the other day. I was trying to sydicate my blog so that when I posted on blogger it would be posted here automatically. Turns out SchoolCenter does not allow java script for security reasons, which i gues is a good thing. I will just have to manually post what I'm up to on here. I'm working With Libby Brown on a little project she has been doing. I'm teaching her to do eNewletters with dreamweaver.

First day as an Intern

Today was my very first day as an intern. I met with my supervisor. We talked about what she does in her field as an Instructional Technology and Media Consultant. She introduced me to a lot of people. I hope I can get all of their names straight. We also talked about my responsibilities and what I would be doing as her intern. I will be traveling around to different schools demonstrating to teachers how to use web based web authoring applications. For now I have to become familiar with it so I can teach others. I think that I will like this intern thing. I am looking forward to helping the Ed Center and Caldewell County Schools.
